Monthly programme The monthly programme normally provides information on events for a two month period and extends invitations to projects, readings and training events. It contains information on events changing every day and also on offers for groups that work over a longer period. Furthermore, the monthly programme provides information on the activities of LesArt elsewhere: with partners in the city, throughout Germany and also internationally. Der Rote Elefant / The Red Elephant »Der Rote Elefant« (The Red Elephant) is a list of recommendations in German which presents approximately 70 books and other media every Autumn. These include films, audio plays or CD-ROMs which are based on literary texts or illustrations. The recommendations include, alongside a critique, creative impulses for approaching literature and also a comprehensive concept for a literatry event, e.g. a reading night. The catalogue presents six top class artists who have all lived in different cultures during their lives.
