Pictures and words for Berlin locations
This was the name of a poetry project in 2003 in which approximately 300 children from the 4th, 5th and 6th school years were introduced to selected poems from well-known German-speaking poets:
Irmela Brender, Paul Maar, Christine Nöstlinger, Lutz Rathenow, Jutta Richter und Fredrik Vahle. Together with teachers of German and Art, ten project workers drafted a concept which encouraged the children to visual and theatrical interpretations of the poems. The libraries in the direct vicinity were also involved. The children's results were distributed, spoken and hung as posters on streets, squares and in public transport. The occasion for this project was LesArt's 10th birthday which was celebrated in 2003 at the Academy of Arts.
