Once upon a time ... A long, long time ago..., In the days when wishes still came true..., It was and was not..., Many years ago there lived..., In the middle of a beautiful valley lived..., As it was, in a big city..., Many moons ago there lived..., In another time lived..., In olden times of days long since past..., Many hundreds of years ago..., There was once and there was never..., Where was it and where was it not..., Seven times seven kingdoms wide..., In olden and happy times..., In a grey time before time began..., In the time when my grandfather was still a young man..., An unimaginably long time ago..., The old people tell us that... Once, in a deep and impenetrable forest, there lived...
How fairytales end
And if they haven't died then they are still alive today..., He who told the tale can still hear it in his mouth..., Then came a friend and the tale is at an end ..., And they lived happily ever after..., We here have had better fortune..., From that time on they lived in clover and now this fairytale is over..., They were married and there was much joy throughout the kingdom..., That could not happen today as the poor could otherwise soon become rich..., For the others the fairytale, for us good health..., Both had achieved their aim, we must now go to sleep..., And if they haven't reached him yet then they are still travelling there..., They were well-behaved and honest once more and lived happily ever after..., And so it was..., That is the end of the story.
