Collection: Books with Berlin as a literary reference

The collection of books with Berlin as a literary reference contains approximately 400 volumes. It makes up the basis for the LesArt programme »The city is big«, in which connections are made between literary locations and the history of the city or the biographies of authors or literary figures.
The collection is constantly being increased and contains books from the time before 1945 (original issues, later issues, reprints) and after 1945 (picture books, fairytales and sagas, novels, biographies and autobiographies, city guides, information material).
The books in the library can only be used on site and access can be gained with prior registration.
